Senior Manager – Migration Team
Responsible for LH Global’s National migration team, this role will initially oversee the existing team of 10 migration consultants operating in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth. While it is anticipated that the role will have an open mandate to attract and recruit high performing migration agents into the team in all offices, the position will be expected to lead and guide the incumbent team to increased billings and profitability.
Tasked with growing the business on a National level, the position will be required to determine appropriate strategies to capture more of the migration services market in all target markets. It is anticipated that the position will formulate a marketing and promotion strategy including with a range of seminars, and events (both local and international) to build client pipelines. The position will also be expected to build professional relationships with other service providers to gain referrals.
The position will work closely with other Australia based department managers and the Country Heads in China, the UK and US to expand our business through leverage existing clients and enhancing value of each client to the business. The role will be expected to analyse market, client and processes to ensure efficiencies and profitability is maintained. As the business grows, the leader of this team will be expected to adjust and streamline processes to match operational requirements.
With full P&L responsibilities, the position will be required to prepare operating budgets, revenue goals and implement plans to achieve financial targets.
The successful candidate will be a certified Migration agent with at least 5 years experience leading a small team of professionals. It is expected that the candidate will be looking to step up to look after a bigger team with National coverage. Experience should have been gained across all visa categories and experience in complex cases is essential.
Systematic and structured, the successful candidate will be familiar with defining and executing long term business plans. This experience will have been gained in setting plans for different geographies and client cohorts. Experience tailoring strategies to visa categories will be critical. A seasoned operator, the right candidate will be very comfortable working to financial and business targets.
A strong team player, the successful candidate will have solid experience working with international migration agents in a number of markets. It is essential that the successful candidate will have a solid track record working with agents in China and be comfortable handling multilayered relationships. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to take a holistic strategic view of LH Global’s business plan.
Successful candidates will be fluent in English and Mandarin.
