As of 01 July 2018, there will be changes relating to how and where to lodge certain Family Stream Visa Applications.

All applications for Partner and Prospective Marriage categories must be lodged online and you can no longer submit a paper application (subclass 820, 801, 309, 100 and 300).

All applications under Other Family visas will need to be sent by post or courier service to the Perth Visa and Citizenship Office. You can no longer lodge your application to the overseas offices of Department of Home Affairs or contracted Service Delivery partners (subclass 114, 115 and 116).

Parent Visa applications must be all sent by post or courier service to the Perth Visa and Citizenship Office (subclass 804, 884, 864, 173, 143 and 103).

The application lodgement arrangements will impact both onshore and offshore applications.

Understanding these changes is vital to make sure you lodge a valid visa application. Contact us today if you have need of any assistance in this area.
