Global Enterprises Group Managing Director Mr James Clarke has been invited to appear before the Australian Federal Parliament’s House of Representatives Joint Standing Committee on the National Capital and External Territories tomorrow on the 17th September 2015.

Mr Clarke is a previous resident of Christmas Island, and spent a large part of his post-graduate research researching the potential for the Chinese outbound tourism market to be a catalyst for the development of the Indian Ocean Territories’ tourism industry.

Mr Clarke’s research included personally interviewing the 6 largest outbound operators in the Yangtze River Delta region of China, which sees some of largest numbers of outbound tourists from China.

Mr Clarke has said “I am very excited to appear before the Joint Standing Committee to present the findings of my research project, and applaud the Committee Chair Mr Luke Simpkins MP and his team for their great work in moving this committee forward, and for considering the importance of the tourism industry as a part the IOT’s future”.
